Very Custom Templar Series Wraith Owned by Neal Moser |

This guitar was supposed to be all Walnut,
however, the nice piece of flame Walnut I had was just a tad too small.
So, I found a nice piece of quilted Maple and stuck it in the middle to
make up the difference. WOW, a monster is born. |

Because this guitar was SO nice
I decided to install my complete electronics package and a pair of DiMarzio
pickups. Super II and PAF with chrome rings. |
Dunlop Strap Locks and a traditional Mock
back plate. As you can see the center block is not a "cap",
but solid quilt Maple. Sweet. :-) |

This is Templar Wraith #1 Nice Grover mini in-line machines. |
MCS logo engraved in first fret.
Wraith model name engraved in real pearl truss rod cover. |

The wood on this guitar is at the "DUUUUDE"
level. |
I decided to use my traditional "Dolphin"
headstock. |
I built this guitar to take the place of the Templar Genesis
that is showcased in this Templar section. The Genesis was in my office
and I played it often. When I sold it I decided to build a Wraith to
take it's place. As soon as I finished the Wraith I sent the specs to
a friend, Jeff Tourtillotte, and he bought it on the specs alone without
seeing it. I'm afraid this guitar never made it to the auction block.
Update 12-15-05: Jeff Tourtillotte sent this guitar back to
me as a Christmas present. I have no words other than a heart felt THANKS
Jeff. You're the best. |
