Kahler USA

On June 19, 2004 I was honored to be invited to the Kahler USA factory. Gary and I go back 20 + years and it's great to see him back in action. I'm a personal fan of his bridges and I've had one on my "working guitar" ever since he handed me one and said "Neal, check out this trem and let me know what you think of it. 1980". I loved it then and I love it now.
The Kahler factory isn't up to speed yet, but it will be in the near future.

This is the Kahler USA facility. There's Gary's silver car and my red car. :-)
It was great to see Gary again.

The building is being split up and another business is coming in to share the facility.
This will be the office and rest room area.

This wall will be finished soon to separate the two businesses.
Entering Kahler USA.

Here's Gary explaining to Earlleen what his plans are. The large machinery you see is left over from Gary's golf club making venture. I'm trying really hard to get a set of Kahler golf clubs out of him. :-)
Earlleen Lloyd-Moser is the owner of Moser Custom Shop. A very active and involved owner. Earlleen and Gary checking out a bridge.

There are boxes and more boxes of bridges and parts.
Bass bridges. :-)

These carrousels are amazing. There are more than one million pieces in these two powered rotating carrousels.
More bridges & parts.

A variety of Kahler bridges.
Oooooooo...............the grail, NEW 2300 flat mount trems. (I scored two while I was there). :-)

Doin' a little jamming and a lot of talk. (I think I'm being video taped).

This is Tony Saccoia's "Auto Tuned" Tele. You'll be hearing more about it later.
Gary kicking back. He looks pretty laid back for a racket ball champ.

That's Bill Gerien holding a tuner for Tony.
Bill Gerien of Merlin 5 CNC Products & Tooling. Bill makes parts for many of the major guitar companies. Fender/Jackson/Charvel etc, etc..........(Cool dude).

This is one of the first ads for the colored trems.
This is the first Kahler bridge ad. Very cool.
