Moser 79'

THIS IS ANOTHER GUITAR WITH A STORY

This guitar had the same beginning as the Rich Bich.
I designed it in 1979, had it built by the woodshop and then offered it to BC Rich as a new design. I think Bernie was tired of paying me royalties on the Bich, or he really hated it. One of the two anyway. So, I took it home and sat it in a corner. It sat in the corner of every garage I had until 1999. Then Billy Truhart, a friend of mine, saw it and asked me where it came from. After I told him the story he said, "It's mine". At that time it was still just an unfinished guitar in wood. It was a Koa neck through with Rosewood fingerboard. It was set up for a Kahler flat mount trem and two hums. He decided he wanted it to be extra special, so we put binding on the neck and all around the headstock and had "The Moser" inlaid on the head. A little trans cherry paint and there you go. This is truly a ONE OF A KIND custom guitar. Even if I decided to make another one, I wouldn't make it the same as this one. Thanks Billy for letting me do the photo shoot.

It's got a nice PAF and a P-94
You'll notice it has no serial number, which seems to be a BC Rich trait. Like I have said all along, we didn't put S/Ns on most of the custom guitars.

Notice the fiddle back Koa. This is really a beautiful guitar.

Billy only drives Mosers and Vettes
