GENESIS NECK-THROUGH # 1
I
designed this guitar in the late 80s, right around the time I designed the Scythe.
It's a cross between the Moser 79 and the Bich.
This Genesis is the first one we've built at MCS and is a neck-through. The original ones had bolt-on necks. This Genesis was purchased by Miles Baron who is located in Maryland. Miles is a great guy and we've become good friends. I believe he is going to be doing a web page on this guitar as well. When he does, I will link in from here. Everyone who has played this guitar likes it. I've been told by many people that they like this shape as well or better than the Bich. Works for me. Thanks again everyone.

Stainless steel truss rod cover. Grover Super Rotomatics with the Imperial knob.
You can tell by the small amount of "fill" around the "M" that this is a hand inlaid guitar. No CNC here.

We've got a little Flame Maple going on here in the center section. It's about AAA. We didn't plan it that way, we just cut it up and there it was. What a pleasant surprise. :-)

DiMarzio Super 2 at the bridge and PAF at the neck.
Another one of my specially cured bones.

Rosewood finger board with Mother of Pearl cloud inlays. The wings are Walnut and the neck is AAA Flame Maple. And of course a Leo Quan Badass bridge. (Thanks Glen).
1 volume and 1 tone. Top right chrome mini switch is the pickup selector. The 5-way switch is the varitone. Red tip switches from left to right are series/parallel for each pickup, then a phase switch and the last is a booster switch.

I love macro photography, can you tell? I wonder how many companies would show pics with this much detail. There's really not that much to say about this guitar. I wanted to keep it, but money talks.
Thanks a lot Miles for being a good friend and so much fun to do business with
.
