Gary Kahler showing us his bridges in the
"Museum Of Making Music". I'd love to have one of my guitar
designs in there some day. :-) |
Kahler guitar tremolo on left and six string
bass tremolo on right. That's class. |

Take a good look, you won't see me in a suit
very often. |
Earlleen and I enjoyed the evening
immensely. |

They projected the company name
of all the sponsors on this screen throughout the evening. |

Don Lewis is recognized as a pioneer in Synthesizer
performance. In 1974 his desire to use a single controller to manipulate
the myriad sounds of diverse electronic instruments led to the design
and , in 1977, the construction of LEO. This one-of-a-kind instrument
foreshadowed the development of MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface),
which today is considered to be one of the world's most revolutionary
musical innovations. |

"LEO" has been in the Museum Of
Making Music since 2001. Don Lewis refurbished this historic instrument
and gave a demonstration of his abilities to make this instrument "TALK".
I was IMPRESSED. |

Don Lewis, a wonderful man and incredible
musician. |
