"AN EVENING OF NOTE" was held at the "Museum of Making Music". The Museum of Making Music is a non-profit organization with a mission to celebrate the rich history and encourage the future of music making.

Entrance to the "Key Players Club" where the banquet was held.
The "Museum Of Making Music" is in the same facility. Gary gave us a personal tour of the Museum. Very COOL.

Left to right: Mary Gerien, Bill Gerien, Carol Kahler, Gary Kahler, Todd Richardson, Neal Moser, Earlleen Lloyd-Moser, Tony Saccoia.
The gentleman on the left is Larry R. Linkin, President/CEO of NAMM 1970-2001. Fun Guy.

Gary Kahler showing us his bridges in the "Museum Of Making Music". I'd love to have one of my guitar designs in there some day. :-)
Kahler guitar tremolo on left and six string bass tremolo on right. That's class.

Take a good look, you won't see me in a suit very often.
Earlleen and I enjoyed the evening immensely.

They projected the company name of all the sponsors on this screen throughout the evening.
Bill and Mary Gerien. Mr. PARTS man.

Todd Richardson discussing all the prizes he's going to win with the $100 worth of tickets he bought. Carol Kahler listens patiently.
Gary smiling for my camera. :-)

Don Lewis is recognized as a pioneer in Synthesizer performance. In 1974 his desire to use a single controller to manipulate the myriad sounds of diverse electronic instruments led to the design and , in 1977, the construction of LEO. This one-of-a-kind instrument foreshadowed the development of MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface), which today is considered to be one of the world's most revolutionary musical innovations.

"LEO" has been in the Museum Of Making Music since 2001. Don Lewis refurbished this historic instrument and gave a demonstration of his abilities to make this instrument "TALK". I was IMPRESSED.

Don Lewis, a wonderful man and incredible musician.
